Cindy Arenberg Seltzer Honoree at BJF Power Breakfast
On November 30th, 2007 the Jewish Federation of Broward County held its 5th Annual Elected Officials Power Breakfast. Besides providing local and statewide policymakers the opportunity to update constituents on the challenges faced by Florida and Broward County, the event included an award ceremony for Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, President/CEO of the Children's Services Council of Broward County, who was honored "for her outstanding work on behalf of children". In presenting the award, State Sen. Nan Rich, (D-Weston) praised Cindy as "more than an outstanding champion for children and families, but also a dear personal friend."
