Back To School Extravaganza 2020!

Back To School Extravaganza 2018

For the tenth year, the CSC and Browrd County Schools social workers, along with many other community partners, will be supporting students with a series of “Back to School Extravaganza” events. The program provides supplies to school-age children identified as living in economically disadvantaged households. To comply with COVID-19 safety standards and safeguard the health of participants and volunteers, this year’s events will be structured as "grab-and-go” drive-throughs. More than ever, students and families will need community supports to start the school year off on the right foot. See below about how you can contribute to the campaign or go to www.HandsOnBroward.org to sign up to volunteer!

Please donate to help all students and teachers get what they need to have a successful school year! Your $35 donation outfits a child in need with uniform, shoes, backpack, and supplies. For more information, call (954) 377-1000.

The Faces of CSC

The impact Future Prep had on Sarah fomented her desire to give back to her community. Today, she is a Counselor for Memorial’s CSC-funded Youth Force program, helping other young people gain confidence and determine their own path for the future.
This program has touched me and made a difference in my life.
Thanks to the Children’s Services Council and the YMCA of Broward County, students have an opportunity to give a voice to issues that are important to them.
