This position will provide administrative support to MIS including backup assistance for Operations. The position will also provide first-level helpdesk phone/computer support and essential technical assistance to staff and providers as well as perform other general office duties for MIS as required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Provide first-level Helpdesk support by triaging calls or requests, offering the best solution, and following up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks and tickets are closed out appropriately. Monitor requests and analyze if additional training or other solutions are necessary for various software applications.
Perform general organizational, administrative functions for MIS and provide backup support for other departments within Finance and Human Resources departments. This includes preparing travel forms, administrative support with Issue papers, consulting agreements, etc. Track and maintain various MIS related data such as maintenance agreements, cost, terms, software applications, etc. for the MIS department.
Act as point of contact for the day-to-day management of the electronic records, by performing the necessary scanning and indexing of documents to be stored electronically in Laserfiche.
Provide general assistance and support by scheduling and tracking upgrades and configurations on new system implementations in the appropriate software application.
Responsibilities include preparing agendas, taking, and transcribing meeting minutes, scheduling meetings and corresponding rooms, maintaining office files, making copies, organizing mail, answering telephone calls, interacting with the general public, and relieving the Administrative Assistant for the Reception Area and Executive Assistant, etc.
Enter and maintain mailing lists and other information in the database. Sort and distribute mail, prepare mass mailing information, coordinate pick-up, and delivery of mailings, etc.
Collect information, develop, and maintain spreadsheets, and compile reports on activities as requested.
Follow federal and state laws, in addition to implementing programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with CSC’s priorities.
Conduct oneself in the best interest of the County’s constituents and in support of the CSC’s mission statement.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years or more successful experience in a governmental, not-for-profit agency, or other highly complex organizational environment.
Thorough knowledge of general office business machines, procedures, and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite as appropriate to the position’s job responsibilities.
Multi-lingual preferred.
Must possess valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance or have other means to enable travel locally and non-locally, including getting to work and going to different locations during the day for meetings, etc.
