Data and Research

Our Programs in Action

Partners collectively work in COMMITTEES on a common agenda, to share data & strategies, maximize resources & hold each other accountable. Reports & recommendations are taken up to the LEADERSHIP COALITION, Broward s policy advisory entities, to make meaningful improvements towards achieving shared RESULTS.

Integrated Data System (IDS)

CSC was awarded the University of Pennsylvania’s Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy (AISP) technical assistance grant beginning in September 2017 to build an Integrated Data System. With the technical assistance, the Broward Data Collaborative Governing Board was created and has convened quarterly since 2017. The Governing Board includes CSC, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Children and Families, ChildNet, Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Broward County Public Schools, Broward Behavioral Health Coalition and Broward County Human Services Department.

The Faces of CSC

The greatest tool you can give a child is the ability to persuade and speak with confidence. Being that my YIG experience positively impacted my emotional literacy skills, I would like to pass these on to those who are less fortunate.
"This program has touched me and made a difference in my life."
"I will be the first to say, Youth in Government should be a part of every teenager's life, because I know without it I wouldn't be the person I am."
